In this course we’ll start to introduce melody into the equation. We’ll take a simple melody, in this case “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star” and we’ll learn how to re-harmonize it using rich chords that we learned in Course 3. Then we’ll apply improvisational melodies to the new chord structure.
Understand how chords are applied to melody. This will make anything that you hear on the radio possible to figure out in a short period of time and recreate it on the piano.
Re-harmonization is the ability to reconstruct chord progression based on our knowledge of how chords move using II – V – I or cycle of 5th’s.
