“Blue In Green” is one of the signature tunes from arguably the greatest jazz album of all time, Miles Davis’ “Kind of Blue.” Dark and moody at times this song has been played by jazz artists since it was released by Miles all the way back in August of 1959.

The tune was co-written by Miles and Bill Evans, likely in the studio as they were figuring out tunes to play.  It’s simple, only 10-bars, but it’s a beautiful tune with lush-rich-chords that give plenty of space for soloists to stretch.
