This backing track contains bass & drums at 200 bpm on rhythm changes and the head to Oleo by Sonny Rollins.
Rhythm changes are an essential part of any jazz pianist’s repertoire. The popular AABA structure lends itself well to soloing and therefore it’s an important call on the bandstand. To help you practice Rhythm Changes we’ve put together a backing track with head in and out along with 4 soloing choruses. This will allow you to practice the changes and soling over and over again until it all sits well underneath your fingers. The head also contains the bass player playing the head melody to Oleo along with you.
